Did anyone replace rear drive shaft flex disk on R350? What are typical symptoms of worn flex disk or center support on R class? I have a problem with body vibration when accelerating. It is more pronounced when going uphill and when keeping higher RPMs (more than 3000). Can it be related to unbalanced drive shaft? Any opinions highly appreciated.

All your suspects sound appropriate until you put the car on a lift and under load watch the drive system!!

Thank you Plutoe for your reply. Unfortunately lift is not available for me and of course hourly rates just for inspection of "friendly" dealerships in my area (Long Island) are not too welcoming. On the top of that, somehow I don't think they would really look for a problem....
