Battery recharge CL600 1966

How do you recharge the battery in the boot when you can't access the boot?
I have a dead car, the boot actuator is jambed & the internal boot lights have flattened the battery.

Thumbs up

We ended up having to remove the main protective pan underneath & clipped on jumper leads to the alternator positive terminal & earth. This allowed us to start the car & get it to a garage. The rear boot lock had to be drilled out & replaced with a 2nd hand one.
