Hello,

I am new to the W140 site as I am considering adding a W140 CL500 to my stable of oldtimer MBenzes. I currently have a W126 560SEC that I've had for decades and more recently a lovely SL55 AMG.

The relatively low miler car (74kkm) that has caught my eye is in a burgundy color as in the following photo:



My question would be is the exterior color an official MB color? I have trawled through the net with no conclusive answer. The brochure I have of the W140 CL500 shows "Ruby Red" which it may well be.

I appreciate the input.

That looks like a factory color.
