Own versus Lease S Coupe?
It seems that it may make sense to lease a depreciating asset like a car especially a very expensive one. However, with lease factors significantly higher than interest rates (after the factors are converted), I am not sure whether leasing is better. Is there a rule of thumb that once you are paying over $100k or $120k or $140k, you should lease rather than buy? In the case of the S Coupe, it is a limited production vehicle so maybe that would impact the depreciation and the decision to lease or buy. Please advise.
