2020 S560 Sedan, 2019 SL450, 2019 E450 Luxury Trim Wagon, '24 BMW I7 on order...
So, do we think that the face lifted coupe & cab will be 2018 models coming out in 2017 or 2019's out in 2018? I'm looking to get an S550 Cab, but am really interested in the updated electronics as found in the new E Class sedan, which I imagine will make their way into the face lifted S Class sedans, coupes & cabs--I hope.

That's something I have pondered as well since the coupe came out a year after the sedan. It would stand to reason the coupe, sedan and cab will receive all the electronic upgrades for MY 18, and the coupe getting its facelift in MY '19. The wild card here is that since the cab just came out as a '17 why would it get a facelift for '18 or even '19? Perhaps MB will facelift the sedan and coupe for MY '18 to keep things consistent and the cab in 20.

Is there a list of the electronic upgrades expected for MY18 that I can peruse online? Just wondering what I'll be missing with the MY17 Coupe I'm planning to order this fall...

Mostly the tech from the new E.

https://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehicles/class/class-E/bodystyle-SDN

The '17 will have LTE, the 9G trans and be last year for the 4.7 torque monster motor.

I thought the E had tech that trickled down from the S-Class. I realize the displays are new but everything in the E-Class should already be in the S-Class.

Not this time around. The new E has lots of additional bells & whistles, which we can only HOPE make it to the 2018 W222 refresh. I've been waiting for that rear, cross traffic alert for years now.

It's a known fact that all comes to S facelift.
