68 280se Vin Number
So after looking all over and reading I am unable to find a way to obtain any info on this VIN for a 1968 280se (bought in california)
It is 280se006595
Any ideas on where I can get information on this?

It changes all the time
First of all a 68 280SE is a W108 chassis so you may want to post in that section for future questions. Secondly just what kind of info are you looking for?

W212 E500, W164 320CDI, W116 450SEL 6.9, W116 450 SEL.
Contact MBUSA with teh VIN and they should be able to supply you with copies of the original Data Cards which will give build dates and code numbers for the original extra equipment supplied at the build.
Failing that they are also available from Daimler in Germany but they usually request proof of ownership as well.
