So I am truly in love with the W116. One of my favourite Mercedes to date and on the short list of great cars. It's a joy to work on, and verything is sturdy and feels as though it really was meant to last. I've changed all the fluids and filters and put on new belts. I'm waiting for a new thermostat and wires tomorrow and she should be ready for the road say for an exhaust leak.

The car may or may not have forced me to take a sick day today.







Any body have any tips and things I should check that may be overlooked?
