450SE wont start after sitting 5 months in cold
I have a beatiful 190 000km driven 1975 450SE: It has D-jet system
It run beautifully last summer without any problems. On october I placed the car in cold garage and let it sit for winter. The garage is cold and there has been at least few weeks of low temperatures, -5c...to -10c..
Last week I hook up the battery and tried to start the engine (at 0c degrees) but it wouldnt start.
The engine is rolling but it doesnt ignite. Fuel pump is working (it surzzs when turning power on)
For a reward, the car started leak coolant Seems I have to change the water pump...
Any ideas? Freezed fuel filter? ECU problems?
I wonder, is it ok to use starting fluid directly to air intake system?
