Pictures of my modified 560 SEC
I purchased my 560 SEC back in October last year. Its a fully loaded one, ortrhopaedic heated seats, rear electric blind, self levelling suspension etc.
It has 100k on the clock and had a engine misfire which turned out to be a bent valve and a faulty EZL. Anyway mechanically i had the top end stripped down and fully reconditioned and a set of sports cams + lifters were fitted.
I have done various mods on the car and have taken step by step pictures. The car had a full respray and a colour change to MB Designo Mocha Black.
So far i have rebuilt the engine, gearbox, rear diff, steering box, water pump, radiator, viscous fan, Magnecor spark plug leads, new ignition coil, new EZL, new fuel pump/filters, new injectors, K&N air filter, new fuel distributor, lowering springs, new front Koni shocks, stainless steel sports exhaust, and removed the cats!!
I have fitted an AMG kit, and while the car was being painted i had the bonnet emblem removed for a smoother look. I have also fitted the original AMG 3 piece split rims to finish the car off.
Picture of the car before work commenced:
Engine stripped down:
Car minus engine, gearbox, propshaft/diff/exhaust
High lift cams:
Heads back on:
Air filter assembly polished up:
Engine back in:
K&N Air filter
Stripped down for paint:
Rust under the rear screen:
New panel being fitted under screen:
Custom stainless stell exhaust with twin twin exit, and rear box on each side!
AMG Kit:
Front spoiler onded on and then filled for a smooth look
AMG skirts:
Lorinser rear bumper (AMG one not aggressive enough!)

Would like to try the same mods on my 560: What are the part numbers of the modified high lift 560 SEC cams? and where can they be procured in the U.K.?
Did the modified exhaust include headers? where can they be procured?
Photo of the back boxes edxhaust tips would be appreciated.
Thanks
