Newbio seeking for help...lowering 350SDL

I'm a newbie here...
I've done some research, but it seems there's no after market springs or coilover stuff to lower W126 Diesels...???
I'd appreciate any comments!
Thanks in advance.

560sel(sold) 300sd(sold) Euro 280sel with 66k original miles, 96integra (sold), 2003 passat ( P.O.S)
I'm in the same boat man, there is a brand called spax that makes dampers for our cars but i cant find a review on how stiff they were and noone on this forum has them.

They don't make a coilover or any type of ready to order sport suspension besides the H&R combo which doesn't go very low.

If you want to go really low and actually tuck tire and delete the wheel gap you might as well get a hydro or bagg set up.

Thats what i plan on doing or i'm going to sell my 300 SDL !

From what I have been told, the bilstein hd's are best for our cars but if you want to go really low you will need adjustable dampers.

Yes, people use the same h&r as used on the gas 126's

How low do you want to go ?

How low do you want to go? Keep in mind, you're eating up ride quality and handling by just slamming the car. Won't be fun.

i just want to lower it slightly, but want to improve the handling definitely.
is H&R with bilstein the only answer?
couldn't find bilstein hd's for diesel, just use the same as gasoline bodies?
and no sway bar upgrades???

Only lowered front 350sdl

Hey gang,

I lowered front down to 13.5" by heating stock front coils. I have a new box set of H&R springs that I was going to use, but was talked into just heating front two bottom coils on front springs. If I don't like for whatever reason, I can go ahead a pull original, and put H&R 's on.

Well, at this point considering it's a diesel, and I'm really not going to try to make this big body w126 a racer, I'm very pleased just heating. Anyway, I've got brand new H&R spring set for for w126 with SLS. I'll try to post picture....
