Hello, my name is Sean and I am new to the joys of Mercedez.
I recently odtained a 1982 280SE from a friend who could no longer keep her and didn't want her to go to waste.
She is an amazing car I must say.
There is only 1 issue with the car, a mechanic decided that the front brake hoses should be replaced replacing, however once doing so the brake no-longer work properly.
The brake pedal feel very hard under foot and barely pulls the car up.
Given the car is in excellent condition and there was no issue before he replaced the hoses I can only assume he has failed to bleed the system properly, however I am no expert.
Can someone please offer me some assitance on this issue?
The car has an ABS unit and 2nd line coming from each calliper.
Thank you.
