B20 Bio-Diesel blend

Here in Chicago area B20 is about all that's available. Is this ok for mid '80's SD and SDL that I'm looking at?

Reason I ask is new mercedes require no more than B5 bio-diesel blend, anything higher than that "may" void warranty.

With so many veggie conversions out there I can't imagine bio-diesel is bad for the older w126's.

Thanks for any info.

Those old engines work with just about anything. I ran mine with anywhere from B5 to B99. No issues whatsoever.

If you are looking to buy one, get it thoroughly checked out. Need good compression and good maintenance records.
