Hope everyone is doing well. Posted a long time ago about an 88 560 SEL I inherited from my grandfather. I live in NY but the car is in Rhode Island. Initially I planned to bring it back to NY (Nassau County Long Island) and have it fixed but I am thinking it may be more cost efficient and convenient to fix it up in RI and then bring to NY. Any sense as to a good mechanic to bring it to in RI to get an honest diagnostic as to how much it would cost to bring up to snuff? Car is in town just outside Providence.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
