89 420sel high idle and low power problem
My 420sel is having problems with a high idle and it is very low on power. The fuel distributor was recently replaced and when I floor it, it kicks down but almost feels like is it choking. When I let up on the pedal it will start to accelerate a bit. It has trouble doing 55 on a highway. As for the idle problem, I've checked the fuse on the overvoltage relay and it's good. The icv seems to be working because the engine idles higher when I unplug it. It's been this way ever since I owned the car. It's been an annoyance. The car has about 20th miles on it.

Out Of Control!!
I can spend time looking at the older documentation, but to do so that requires a VIN!!
PS:do you have any test equipment--on\off meter;lambda tester----if not don't post your VIN!
