My Tachometer wasn't working but when I backed off the cap. It started working doesn't look bad all the terminals look clean? Any input?

bigdogjim, the tach amp is common to have a poor connection in it's cap. Remove the amp from its cap and put a piece of 1/8" thick foam on top of the amp to help keep it seated in it's socket.

alot of times the pin sockets get pushed down when screwing cap on.I hammered a wood wedge under mine.

I used a piece of neoprene rubber under the cap. You could also use mass loaded vinyl, both should survive heat
