I own a 1986 560 SEL and a 1989 560 SEC
500 SEC-SGS Cylinder Head Set for $600.00
Hello MBW:
These cylinder heads were removed from a legit W126 MercedesEuro 1985 500 SEC-SGS Cabriolet. Chassis # 126.037. Engine#117.963. The part# is R 117 016 41 014. DOCH 32V with the 5.0/304displacement. The fuel injectors had the larger diameter port. Bothcylinder heads appear to have been recently installed. The timing chain was new, thechain guides were also new. The pistons looked also in very good condition. Thecam on the passenger side was removed for inspection. All componentsseem to be in a good condition and may be be reused (but it isrecommended that new parts be replaced). The rocker arms, ball studs, camshaftbearings, and the oilers look in good shape. This cylinder head will have to bere-torqued. The driver side cylinder head has the cam still torqued. The sprockets will also have to be re-torqued. There is one noticeable chain mark inside the lip of the driver side head; however, the valve cover seal should still be able to prevent any leaks.
Theseunits have not been cleaned or machined by me, they come "as is" fromthe donor SEC. I can't offer a guarantee, so please make sure that this is theright part for your Mercedes. I will deliver these heads within the los AngelesCounty and I will see if I can offer free shipping within the continental USA.I'm offering these cylinder heads at a reasonable price ($600.00), they are rare andshould be priced higher.
