Niggles

Spotted this car locally and the owner is interested in selling. Was hoping you all could help me in my due diligence before moving forward.

I've never owned one before so any help is appreciated.

It is claimed to be a 1982 380SEC AMG. 117000kms

I was curious if it can be identified as a real AMG car somehow (do people fake these?)

Are there things I should look for mechanically when I check it out?

If it was perfect (which I'm sure it is not) what are these worth in this configuration?

What is the general fair market value for these in typical condition? (Needing normal wear items and perhaps other general repairs specific to the model)

I will try to get better pictures and the VIN when I go look again with a bit more knowledge at my disposal.
