Wiring Harness Fuel Injection schematic needed

In the process of rebuilding wiring harness for my 1993 300SE 3.2L, I accidentally cut the wires to the connector that hooks to the magnet for camshaft adjustment. The entire wiring harness was bad throughout as all the insulation was dried and cracking. The male (2) prongs are on the magnet and the female connector has the numbers 1 and 2 on it and eventually hooks into the large 36 pin connector pictured. Can anyone tell me where pins 1 and 2 on small connector attach to on the 36 pin connector (what # pins?). The pins are labeled 1 through 36 on the large connector. See attached pictures

Thanks in advance William

Hey William,

I rebuild those harnesses but I don't have any diagrams of them. I will actually document one when new harness will come in for rebuild.

From what I know cam advancer wires go somewhere in the center of main connector. Sensors usually go to the end of main plug, injectors in the beginning, injector positives and cam advancer go in the middle somewhere. polarity is not important as cam advancer is electromagnet and will pull advancer valve in when current is applied. Valve is not polarized.

When I rebuild harnesses I cut one wire at the time and replace it with new one. You can replace all other wires and do cam advancer wires last so they will go to last available terminals on main connector.

Cheers,

Victor

Hi Victor,

Thanks for the reply. I got a schematic for the engine wiring and figured it out. The car runs like a champ again
