1995 S500-- any issues to be aware of?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this particular forum but a long time MBWorld member from a few months back in the W221 forum. I once had a 2007 S600 for about 3 years.
I'm considering buying a 1995 W140 with only 58000 miles on it and I was noticing how dated looking the square brake light assembly is for the rear window brake light.
Has anyone replaced that assembly with a more sleek looking light with LED lights on it?
The car looks like brand new as if the seats have not even been sat on. Showroom perfect but is there any issues I should be aware of.

I had a 1994 S500 ten years ago and didn't have any problems but after 10 more years I was wondering if there are any issues I should be looking out for.

As for 3rd brake light I'm replacing mine with a universal.
As for problems please note that 95s have the wire harness that fails with age.Put money aside to replace it,and enjoy your car.

Thanks. I have been hearing that before about the harness. Hopefully I can get the car.

Yup, just replaced wiring harness. Upper harness is always an issue. Also the ETA can have the same wiring issue big $$. Awesome car though. Feels great driving something this big beautiful and rare.

i owned 1995 s500 and it's been a pleasure to drive it. I would like to lower this bad boy and put a wald body kit. Any advise on what to put to lower it (but not giving up the nice ride) and where to get the body kit?

Try Ebay plenty of body kits,and lowering springs.
