Angry slow pick up and cats get super hot

Hello all
here is what i have my car was running fine then all of a sudden she lost pick up it runs like it has a stopped up nose, it is hard to explain, but it does not run smooth like it should, one said that my cats were cloged up so i changed them still same problem come to find out my cats were fine, but when the shop was cutting the old ones off there was raw fuel in the pipes so that is saying that she is running rich, i dont know where to look iam getting to my wits end with this car,

i have changed the wire harness the dist caps and rotors the coils
this problem started a couple of days after i changed the dist and rotors

any body have had this problem
or any help

Did you use new ignition wires? That maybe your problem with old wires.

No i did not put new wires on but one thing i notcied was that it is running rich
and there is a bad fuel smell and that it is burning a lot of fuel i cant drive the car there was raw fuel in the pipes Iam wondering if it could be my fuel pressure regalator, the car runs like it is stoped up

iam thinking there is a fuel problem

Well Sir it could be fouled plugs,you can at least pull plugs to see which are not firing.Then you know if its wires or coil boots.You can buy mass airflow cleaner.A dirty air flow sensor can give you all kind of problems.

I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY 95 S420,I REPLACED THE WIRING HARNESS WHICH WAS BAD,CRACKED INSULATION,AND ALSO REPLACED AIR MASS FLOW SENSOR.BUT NOTHING CHANGED,NO PICK UP ON ACCELERATION,RUNS RICH!!!
I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO!!!

problem fixed

after all i done i it was one of my coils had burnt
