Should have it in a few days.
Where is the best place to find the AMG Monoblock I wheel that looks so good on this car?

Yeah I found a set on ebay, they're from the early model W220 AMG package. Having them mounted today, will post pics when I get the car back.

Absolutely beautiful W140. That's stunning--perfect color combo. The wheels really make it pop too. Nice to see no window tint either.
PS, that BMW isn't bad looking either
Do you mind sharing a little about your buying experience with the guys at Private Collection? I keep eyeing their cars...Well, their S65 anyway. Do they seem trustworthy? Are they a typical shyster-run car dealer? Feel free to PM me if you don't want to discuss on the open forum.
Cheers,
Ricky

Thanks. They do appear to have very clean cars but they aren't completely honest, or at least they weren't with me. There was a clear problem with the drivers seat and you would have to have been 3ft tall not to notice the position the seat was stuck in. It was an expensive fix and they've said nothing since. Overall the car is in immaculate condition, one of the best W140's my mechanic has ever seen. Just beware of them and their small omissions about their cars. It is best if you can go inspect the car yourself, I couldn't of course.

Now this is a Mercedes that we can agree on There's always something about the S Class. I was close to getting W140's a few times when I had my M-B's, but I always chickened out. If only I had the garage space.
That's a breezy colored car, my first stop would've been the tint shop, but must have a helluva'n airy feel to it how it sits.
P.S: Those aren't the same Monoblocks that you initially wanted. You were looking for the 90's style "big block" wheels, the ones you got appear to be the evolution of those that appeared on the W220's (thinner spokes, shaped more like "stars" with tapering toward the edges).

Awesome. I loved the one I had. Custom ordered with black interior. Was rare. Brings back memories. The only thing that came close since I had the w140 has been the w221 in my opinion.
