Red face problem with torque converter (1997), need help!

Hello every one
glade to be here among you

so Star diagnostic showed that my car has a fault# 053 torque converter
lock-up clutch (KUB), high power consumption!

and i asked them about it and they said i need the change the TC in-order
to solve this problem, my car is about 135K and its 97 S600

i have owned the car since it had 98K in the odometer and have not noticed
any problem form the gear except one or two in a new day when using the car for
the first time the gear i drive mode stuck for about one minute in first gear
while the RPM would reach 2 and exceed it i don't know if this is normal to the w140!?
the second note is when turning the car to the right i usually left-off the
gas pedal but after the turn in a slowing speed with out touching the breaks
when hitting the gas there is a big knock from underneath the gear which is
noticeable form inside and ohhh i forgot there is a Third note the same knock
before is there when using the kick down for the first time in a day!

are those enough indications that tells me that i do need to change the TC
ASAP or its fine now and can hold for like +30k until the next gear service
because the time have come to do the 135K service.

I have never heard of a TC being replaced. What I have heard is the wiring plug can leak into computer, the plate going bad, debris unhooking wires, and antifreeze leaking into fluid.

the computer scanner showed there is a problem with the torque converter
other wise it would say another fault since the car is full of sensors every
where but thanks for the replay.

still waiting
