1995 S600 running warm, normal? Oil leak also.

Hi I have a 1995 S600 Sedan with 56,000 miles on it that has been in my family for 12 years and has been driven about 25 times and garage kept.

Over the past 2 summers I've been taking it out for a cruise here and there, and the heat gauge stays around 100, I'm assuming if the last line is at 80. If the car is parked or at a light it goes just under the 120 and the fans kick on strong.

The temp outside is 65-95 degrees when this happens, and when I feel the engine, its hot

I drove it last night and it was about 45 degrees outside with no issue that I could see.

All the fluids are fine but have not been changed since buying the car besides the engine oil which was changed a few times, the last time being last week. The engine looks pristine with no broken hoses from what I can tell.

Is this normal for a W140 V12, seeing the engine bay is small with such a large strong engine or do I have a problem?

Also every time the car sits for awhile in the garage, it leaks engine oil from the pan and somewhere on the top/middle of the engine.

I also need to buy a dipstick for the trans, but how do I pull that cap off?
