I have a mean German lady sitting in my driveway. She's a 1994 Mercedes S420 that may need an engine transplant. My question is this; Are all 4.2liter 119 engines from 1992-1995 plug and play? I have found a 1992 E400 and a 1994 E420 engine for sale, as far as I can visually see they look the same. Any help, guidance, or suggestions is appreciated. Thank you for your time and input.

I'd go with the E motor.I also am putting a motor in,I went with same year en gine.
