engine temperature

Whats up everyone.

My brother has a 1995 s500 and its low mileage.....around 53k but lately his engine temperature has been climbing up to 110 degrees. It seems its only when the ac is on. Is this normal or should he be concerned?

Not good,maybe fan clutch,and electric fans not working.

These are big and old engines and id imagine they run a little hotter then lets say a newer engine like a m113 or m112 no?

Ill have him check those btw...thanks

I got a special thermostat to keep mine at 78C
