Hello and friken.
Cant this loser ever have a car with working ac?
The only cars that held up were my 84 Femaro and My e30 M3.
Other than that any ice being blown had to wait for the middle of winter.
I figure this is one of the most fundamental problems in used cars.
The excuses are superb though ..aren't they.
Just was working..leaking..needs a fill.
All those chemicals in the air..no wonder the world is nutz!
Even my e55 amg had a leak and died.
This car I'm being offered has no ac..Needs a refill they say. lol.
Well wheres the lid so I can pour in the plastic ice then?
Anyway.
The car looks very very good. Well taken care of lots of bills. Body is nice. NO RUST. One tiny scratch on rear passengers door.1.5 inches.
Paint is 8/10. Interior is 9/10. All else works I presume except for the damn AC!!!
This will haunt me till the day I die. No AC in hell for me.
Has 110000 miles on her and was checked out.
What's it worth...Please and Thank You.

If it's the evaporator that requires repair, it requires 8-10 hours of labor to remove the dash. Expensive to repair $3k - $8k depends on location. I'm guessing that the cost to repair equals what you would pay for the car.

Thanks.
You wouldn't know how to be able to tell would you?
That is not having to pressurize the system.
