Hello all, my car this morning acted like it was not going to shift out of first gear.
The problem just started with no warning. Reverse works fine. Any ideas please?

This is very old however if this only happens when the engine is cold----sounds like you have issues with the shift point retard system--have some one check the Shift Point Retard relay; the SPR vacuum unit and the SPR switch over valve.
