1997 S320
Rear door locking mechanism Door wouldn't open
A few days ago I unlocked the car doors using the remote control. I then tried to open the rear passenger side door. It would not open even though the lock was in the up position. It would not unlock from both the inside and the outside of the car.
Without being able to open the rear door I can't see how I can repair the linkage unless I destroy the inside liner. Any suggestions?

It's not too difficult. Just alot of components to remove so you can access the actuator part.

How in the world are we supposed to repair the mechanism that is inside the door when we can not open this very door
