1999 S500 (W140)
Passenger Side Mirror Loose
My passenger side mirror is loose, but doesn't look like it will fall off. I can still open and close it with the electronic controls, but it just looks bad. What can I do to properly reattach it?





I can push it back in like so:




But a trip around the block and it loosens up again.

Take the cover off and you will see that the metal assembly is broken----replace the mirror and enjoy your life!!
