After spending a week determining why my trunk wouldn't close and finding out it was the alignment of the latch. It worked for a week and now it won't open. It wont open with the key or the switch on the dashboard. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If what you say is true then you only have one alternative --------drill the lock and purchase a new assembly!!

PS: That is if you need access to the trunk!!

The drivers side of the seat belt extender works, the passenger side doesn't, any suggestions?
