no air coming out from the center vents a mouse ate on the vaccum tubes 2 from a vaccum tank and 2 that goes to the recirculation flaps but I have the same problem the compressor kicks in and then shut off some blockage in the low side replacing receiver drier expansion valve compressor and repair the vaccum leaks ....

Yeah i know, same here, i cant even drive my car its black with black interior its like a hot frying pan

Wanted to tell you something, i don't know if you did it or what year is your car, but i took my in car temperature sensor with aspirator blower its located by sunroof switch. that thing was full of dirt. Took brake cleaner and just 1 quick spray made it like new. So if you didn't check it yet, it would be a good time to do it.

Hi all, back with the update.
Installed the new compressor, new expansion valve, new drier. Pulled the vacume on the system to get all the moisture out and see if theres any leaks, everything looked good. Filled it up with new freon 2.5 lb for what it called even got a little digital weight to get the corrects amount in.

My ac is working so good now,WOW! I can make ice now

I spent about $400 on everything Got a good deal on ebay for New Denso compressor for $285 Valve was $30 drier was $30 and freon was around $50

MB dealer give me price on parts only $1100 never called me back on labor, i just can imagine how much the labor would be plus they told me to diagnose the problem would cost me $265

Wasn't that hard to replace it all, just take time, no rush and everything went smooth.

Thank you guys for all the help Now i can enjoy this Beauty!

I fix the vaccum leaks . it blows cold like 50 degrees F. at the evaporator sensor with 14 bar high side pressure and clean the inside temp sensor on top of rear view mirror I got the expansion valve and receiver drier now evacuate the old Freon I am going to reseal the a/c compressor just to learn more ... how cold is yours like 39 degrees f ?

Was i right about the inside temperature sensor, was it filthy?
To be honest i didn't even check how cold it gets, but my wife been complaining that its freezing in the car so i didnt even bother to check. it gets really cold, i am very satisfied.
What did u mean by reseal the a/c compressor?
Was i right about new Denso compressor comes with oil already? im kinda worried now

Wow!!! looks like you had fun!! did you find anything that was wrong with the compressor?
How much time does it take to rebuild one and how much $$ for the new part for it? Just wandering if its worth to do it or just get a new one.

my 94 did this and it was a wire on the compressor that indicates that its spinning before engaging the compressor clutch
the wire was intermittent so it would occasionally disengage
sometimes shutting the car and restarting would restore operation
check for a bad or broken speed sensor on the compressor

Steve

oops i missed the second page of posts ....disregard this post
