obd2 reader that works on abs w140?

My abs light is on.

Just tried the Innova 3160e code reader. Brand new, and updated.
Not working.
I have been searching on the internet, and if you read the fine print, usually w140 is excluded in the supported models.
Any suggestion?

WDGBA76GXWA383410.
No generic codes. Abs,bas, ets light is on
New brake light switch. Happened on a road trip. Went out, and came back on.
I need a code reader that does abs, and srs.
Thanks Bjorn

I always check by VIN because of all the model changes\countries, but you are correct, you need a much better diagnostic tool to read the B and C MB codes!

The one thing you can do is make sure all the tires are inflated to the same bar!!

I think, maybe a Carsoft 38 pin module, the v12 program, and using my computer.
Forget the obd2 16 pin reader all together.
Any thoughts?

If you checked the obvious,(wheel speed sensors and BL switch) carsoft will work as long as it will read all the B and C faults----if not carsoft ain't WAS, and you are right back to factory or equal software. I can tell you carsoft is not equal to DAS!!

I am not sure what to do.
It would be easy if you could just plug in a scanner that would just tell you "right front speed sensor"
I have done bls, and checked tire pressure. I guess I will look at the speed sensors.
Anyway. Thanks for the help

That's what experienced well equiped folks do for a living---they plug in and tell the customer what is faulty and how much it will cost to repair---the less learned do just that, check the obvious, and if that does not solve the problem, you either live with it, sell the car or let experienced folks solve the problem!!
