1992 S 600 w140
discrepancy
1992 S600 W140 ... doesn't seem to be listed or rather is listed as 1992 W140 600 SEL. I have actually seen vehicles with the 600 SEL badges However I believe my vehicle is a 1992 Phase 1 W140 series with S 600 badge. Where the 600SEL badge was then afterwards utilized for the phase 2 and on until 1994.
I am wondering how many of these vehilces there may be the in the U.S.. I have been looking on-line to see if I might find a simiular one to get a more realistic value for my car. I haven't had much luck aside from seeing a few ads, with only two actualy having the S 600 badge and priced at about 4K and the other at about 12K. Being in California this vehicle will provide an opportunity to apply for registration as a classic in about 1 year when it will be 25 years old and a vehicle of very significant value in it's technology and the foundation of the 8 year run for this series of MB
