Clear thing next to headlight switch?? What is iT??
I have a clear thing next to the headlight switch. My last s500 did not have it.
Does mercedes offer a built in radar detection as an option? If not what is this for?
It is below the headlamp switch to the right a little bit.

Are there two? a Green one and a red one? If so those are your fog light indicators. When your front fogs are on the Green light will switch on, when both front and Rear fogs are on the Red and Green will light up. To turn you fogs on twist the light knob all the way to the right and Pull Up. 1 notch = Front Fogs 2 notches = Front and Rear.
