NEW HEADLIGHT ISSUES WITH SUPPLIERS

I have received a pair of new headlights for my W220 which were missing two of the three finger connectors on the back side of the module.

Any other problems of this kind from other members ?

are you talking about aftermarket /eBay headlights or oem Mercedes headlights from a dealer ?

the aftermarket eBay stuff often require rewiring

These were ebay lights...no way to rewire, as the units were sealed.

You have to open them up and rewire , many people have had the same issue

or just return them

These guys are good
https://www.uniquestyleracings.com/

they sell DEPO lights which are the next best thing to oem . You just be certain you specify exactly what you currently have since there are many different wiring set ups depending if you have factory halogen or hid lights

also , even on cars with HID, the cars with airmatic suspension have the leveling headlight while the cars with ABC suspension have non leveling headlights . So not only do you need to tell them whether you have oem halogen or hid , if you do have oem hid you have to also tell them if your original lights are leveling or non leveling .

it's usually best to call them to place the order
