I'm getting some weird responses from the dealer. Is there any way to tell if there is a problem with the keyless go system if I don't have a keyless go key(I'm not looking necessarily to diagnose the exact problem, just if there is one?) Is there anyway to tell if the key I have is a smart key, the dealer says the new one will look like the one I have? I'm trying to see if the problem is the key or the keyless go system without spending the $160 the dealer wants to hook it up to a computer to check.

Is that the rate for 1hr? You can ask them to use that time to give you a complete system diagnostics. I paid 1.5hr total for mine and got $15k action plans. I'm happy with the diagnostic works. LOL.

Seriously, I'm glad that they reported all known issues and didn't find anything really wrong with it.
