AIRMATIC, nothing like before!
I am new on this page and so firstly i need to say greetings to Merc enthusiasts! I really, really need ur help, as I am going to lost my hope very soon.
I bought my w220 2 weeks ago and after 4 days it went down (all wheels).
right now it is so low i cant even drive it ...
i replaced pump, relay, fuses, checked struts...i was looking for any leaks - there is none. computer error-C1517 (critical vehicle level at front axle). the pump doesnt work at all on its own (i opened the old relay's plastic cover and made the pump working by pushing the relay's blades together) ...but the car doesnt rise at all.
how long it takes to rise the car (as the reservoir is empty)?
what are the chances that it is the Airmatic computer unit?
any other ideas? i would be grateful for any!
cheers!

...well, i used a light soap solution to spray the components and checked for any bubbles...and there was none.
The problem is that the pump doesnt work/start on its own (i can force it to work by touching the relay's blades with my fingers, but the car is not rising).
Its like there was no signal/command sent by the computer to pump to start, is that possible?
i am going to take it to garage on Tuesday anyways (as it is bank holiday tomorrow)... although wouldnt mind trying on my own tomorrow ;/
cheers for your reply!

jst to let u know - it was a sensor (rear one). they were able to rise it up using the diagnostic computer (previous guy from quick-fit said thats not possible).
its still in the garage...they quoted me about £500...so its not that bad good luck with urs!

u got me worried :/
i hope mine wouldn't do the same thing... i still dont have my car bck as they are waiting for the part to be delivered... i was told (on the phone) that it is 'the rear sensor' and i need a new one fitted... ill let u know as soon as possible which one it is.
are u trying to do anything on your own?
