valve cover gaskets repair DIY
Every high milage mercedes I've purchased has needed valve cover gaskets.
Along with the valve cover gaskets most likely you will need the 2 hoses connecting to the left/drivers side valve cover due to the oil making the rubber hard as a rock.
I would highly recommend getting some hose pliers for the plug wires and hoses.
Here are your parts.
Release fuel pressure
I like to disconnect the fuel line asap in order to limit any excess fuel that mite drip in to the engine after the valve cover is taken off.
disconnect plug wires
Remove coils, I like to clean the metal on the bottom side of the coil, it looks like this mite be some sort of way to stay grounded.
Remove the main covers and also the ventilation cover on top of the VC, clean, reinstall valve covers, my torque spec's said 9nm for the main VC bolts. If you have a tap and dye set you mite want to use that on the ventilation cover bolts due to the old silicone clogging the threads.

It's very easy, most of the time is spent cleaning your vc and coils. You have the kompressor type so I'm not sure if that adds any more work. I would advise you torque every thing to spec, and use a tap and dye to clean the small threads for secondary vc because the bolts tend to snap easy.
