facelifted 220s are stunningly beautiful. Looks like you changed the hood/grill too, I think the grill makes a huge difference.

Is this English? Why is it when I read this I am reading with a Eastern European accent?

But I digress. The car looks nice 02s. I have to ask...are you missing the chrome trim at the top of the bumper cover? Will the trim from the orig bumper not fit? The AMG treatment is definitely sweeter than the original groundwork. Very nice stuff. Did you lower it a bit also?

The impact strips on the w220s is where the sensors go bumpers wouldn't matter

Yea it's missing The chrome strips, the ones i ordered from parts.com are to short! Appearently there's two different lenghts the one I got are an inch short, The car is lowered on links! Thanks all! this project has taken me a while but only because I Simply refuse to only use OEM parts down to the clips that hold the lower grilles on bumper ! Nothing after market here !

Thumbs up

Chris,

Works done amazingly well. Looks really beautiful.
Really want the AMG brakes, soooooo sweet.

Here is a question from my daughter: why there is a diaper on the rear bumper, the black thing in the last picture?

Parallel parking in NYC is brutal on a cars bumper, it protects from scratches from people that have no depth perception and hit your bumper to Measure distance to fit in to a spot.

i didnt notice it till it was mentioned, the diaper is a great idea. i am a MB purist and im rarely impressed by "mods". your work is "factory" in appearance and the car looks beautiful. even the wheels have good taste and dont reak of Rap star recognition. im sure when people see it on the road the little voice in their head says "i want one of those someday"!

Thanks for the kind words, and since I got it out of the body shop its been a head turner by people walking by and driving by, might also be because its never dirty. Its my second job keeping it clean

Nice look! Wheels look to be nicely tucked into wells. I may have missed it earlier but what is the brand of wheel and offsets front and rear.
