Sunroof or Dome light wiring. Need a little help.
I have a BlackVue HD car camera installed in my car, but I am finally going to hardwire it. I was wondering if anyone has some photos of the sunroof panel removed or knows exactly where to tap for power. I will have the power wire professionally done which will house the 3W fuse as well. All I will do is just connect the power and ground it. I did this for a warning light in my BMW 750iL before, but never had a chance to open the panel on my Mercedes.
The camera starts up and begins recording when vehicle is powered up, so it should be a power which works in conjunction with the ignition.
Any help would be much appreciated.
I have a 2005 S430 4Matic.

It's pretty much surveillance while you drive or being parked somewhere. That way there are no gray areas in case of an accident.
And of course, you can always save the recordings if you travel somewhere and want to keep memories.
See the link for short Test Video. This one was taken in 720P, but camera is full 1080P.
