Unhappy Need Help please on Swapping an old radio to OEM command display on W220

Hi guys I need a big help. I have S class W220 S320 2000. Im about to get a command display which comes with wire harness and plugs from Ebay.

My questions are that. Is it possible if I could take out my old radio and cut out all the wires and replace it with the wires that comes with a command unit by matching the colour of the wires?. I just wanna get a new interior look and I just want my CD, radio and steering buttons to work. I don't care much about the DVD or NAV.

I have been searching for the right thing to do , and been trying to find the diagrams to help me solve the problems. but im still confuse.
These below are some diagrams that I found and it looks like these are not for W220?

please email me e_xtra@live.com if there's solutions

Thank you very much in advance and thanx to mbworld

Regards

See http://www.mercupgrades.com and BE SURE you don't cut any orange "wires." They are fiber optic cables, not wire at all.

Thanx so much Skylaw i have look into it and it seems there is no wire pinouts diagram for my original Radio Tape Becker 30. all i see is they have the command 2.0 and 2.5. pinouts list. So i wouldnt know what are the wires and connector sockets to connect to if i will Swap the becker 30 to a command unit.

but anyway as you mentioned i can cut all wires but not the fiber optic right?

Thanx again Skylaw really appreciated.

email me, corkshoppe@gmail.com. you don't need a new harness, you are just going to repin the c2 connector, there is a lot of write up on this from many members on here. look up mine also, but its easy.
