Horrible Sound from the Center Console!

Every time I'm making turn or there is lateral movement and you are being shifted side to side in the drivers seat, the bottom portion of the seat is touching/pressing against the center console, which is making a horrible sticking sound. I have to say probably the most annoying sound I have ever heard in the interior. Looks like the console covering is attached with glue of some kind and over the time it lost it's full strength, but still remains sticky. I can also locate the area, and push it with a finger to recreate the sound. I'm going to have to remove the entire console and come up with repair solution.

Does any of you experienced anything similar?

Thanks

I don't quite understand what is happening here.

The seat touches the center console and causes a "sticking sound"?

There is glue on the outside of the console? from where?

pics of the area may help.

No not outside. Inside between the plastic structure of the console and the actual outside covering.

Here is a picture.

When you push the seat all the way back do you notice any marks where the seat may have been rubbing against the console?

No. Everything is original. I did not remove anything. There are no visible scratches. This sounds occurs inside the center console. Between the plastic structure and the top covering layer.
