2001 S 430 H.I.D LIGHTS HAS ANY ONE INSTALLED ONE BEFORE ?
I just ordered and H.I.D kit for my 2001 s 430 I had seen a 2000 with the blue lights and I just thought it looked really sharp . The kit comes with the two bulbs the balaces and the wiring , I ordered the 6000 h kit because it said that was closest to factory H.I.D. I watched a tutorial on you tube and it seemed faily easy to install but they said you CAN NOT mix up the positive & negitive power wires to the bulb ? any suggestions tips hints do I have to cut the wires ? this makes me a bit nervous shed a little light on my situation here guys thank

Our cars are very finicky and many aftermarket hid kits will not work priperly or will throw errOr codes
The group buys forum has vendors who sell the one with the proper error cancelers
Stock hid color is 4300k not 6000k. 6000k is noticeably bluer . And makes a mb look like a Honda rice rocket . I prefer 5000k- crisper than stock but not ricer

so do you think I will mess up the car at all ? I ordered the kit cheap online from simplyhidkits.com my friend put it in his clk and he said it was fine but I know nothing about these kinds of things and I appreciate any thing you can tell me thanks

if it flickers then take them off, also emember when they are too hot hey also aid the the fading of the lens earlier because of heat,

Ok fingers crossed . lights just aren't bright enough and I travel a lot at night , ill keep you guys posted kit still didn't come in yet

Safe to say I installed them wrong !fried the capacitors ? they were smokeing but are under warrenty ! so here is the 150$ question there are two wires in my OEM headlight wiring harness brown & yellow witch one is ground and witch one is power ?

Take your car to a shop if you don't know what you are doing , you've asked questions in like 4 threads about hid lights . Crossing the wrong wires can result in thousands of dollars of Damage to your car

Ok well im sorry if I offended you by asking questions on too many threads but that what the forums are for aren't they ? any ways I sent the HID kit back its not worth ruining the car , im just sick of the car already might as well just get rid of it and get something newer
