How Many Of You Travel With A Set Of Tools

OK, so my friends think I'm a bit different because when traveling long distance I usually have a few of what I call necessary tools with me. I'm not talking about those that can be found under the trunk cover but things like a ratchet with a couple of extensions, a screwdriver set (torx & regular), a magnet, a telescoping flashlight and a set of sockets, a can of WD40, some electrical/duct tape, and a sheet rock knife.

Am I the only one that is always this cautious? Let me know.

Maybe the two of us...
I also have a small box of tools for travel companion nearly the same as yours, plus a better socket and breaker to work on the wheel bolts plus a few spare parts: a set of light bulbs, relays and a CPS.

Although I don't do it anymore, I used to travel with a whole tool box including about 150 different tools, screwdrivers and sockets; and a floor jack!

I too carry "extra" tools to correct small problems including some for changing the serpentine belt and CPS.

In my race car, all the time. In the Benz, only what MB gives you. If something breaks, you will almost certainly not have enough tools, and or parts to fix it.

PS: Benz has been to Chicago, Fl, and SC many times.
