I was wondering why my car makes a hissing sound when i disarm the alarm and when im exiting the vehicle,sounds like an air bag is deflating?

its the car trying to level itself. When I park my car it is slightly higher after a day. so when I touch the alarm it levels itself back. As long as the car is not on the ground after you park it for awhile, don't worry about it. its normal.

OP, continue to observe the vehicle just like vmystikilv said. Having said that, mine started out just like you and couple months later I can hear the hissing when the car is under load or go over the pump. Then one morning driver side fender is on top of the tire. I started the car and the vehicle is starting to leveling out. But, I can hear the pump (front passenger bumper) constantly running (well atleast when I am outside and listening to it).

The thought of the wife calling me somewhere beside at the house that the car is rested on top of the tires is scared the living out of me. Well, I bite the pullet and replace all with Arnott Springs ($1,300). I know, many members here will fuss at me why go this route while have a luxury car. Yes, able to raise the car up and down or using the sport modes are nice. But, at 13 yrs old vehicle not only the air struts that you have to worry about - you have the pump, the module, every single lines........

Anywho, at least now when we take this vehicle on the road or the wife by herself with the kids..... I can rest my mind.
