Color codes on 2003 w220 beige/brown/java interior
I have recently acquired a 2003 S320cdi, with a leather interior in poor condition as you can see on the picture.
My intention is to get the interior in mint condition, as it deserves.
My problem is finding the right color codes for recoloring the leather.
I think the seats are JAVA, 274A. But, there are a lot of different Java colors to chose from from the dealer.
I have also failed to find anything for the steering wheel.
I know there are a lot of threads about color codes, but I didn't find any help there.
Anyone who knows what colors to choose from this site: http://www.dynamixdyes.com/mercedes-...air-4013-p.asp ?

Thank you, but I guess they get the same answer as when I put my VIN in a decoder. It says that my interior is 274A JAVA.
The full interior is in java except the steering wheel, dash, knob...that is in a rare brown/grey color. Can anybody help me with this two full name colors or references?

You will need to sign up and subscribe. If you are in the USA it will ask you for a credit card number but you will not be charged. Once you are signed up you can enter your VIN # and print out the data card for your car and it will tell you everything you'll ever need to know....all the options, colors, date of birth, everything.
Also comes in very handy for looking up part numbers.

I can't help with the color code, but I can give you a warning...
The perforated leather for the ventilated seats will split and tear if you don't keep it soft and supple. The best product that I know of is "Soffener". You can apply Soffener, then wrap the seat in Saran Wrap for a day or two, and it will make a very noticeable difference. You only need to do the wrap for the first time or two on older, stiff leather. After that, regular application (wipe on, let sit, wipe off) will keep the leather soft and strong.
There are many other leather treatments, but the Porsche 928 folks like this one after trying many others on old, stiff leather seats.
(I have no financial interest in Soffener, Color Plus or any vendor of leather products.)
