S430 brake light

Does anyone know where I can find an LED plate for my left tail light? I can't find anything other than whole light modules and I'm pretty sure that the problem is only in the plate. The brake light is intermittent and not all of the LEDs light up when it is on.

Do you think that you could resolder all of the connections on the plate?

Being a solid state device LED's will last longer than the car. I agree with Wally that you should check the solder connections and look for breaks (cracks) in the lands (wires) on the printed circuit board. Be careful that you do not burn these connections when you re-solder them. Use a soldering iron made for printed circuit boards (Low Wattage) and a thin gauge solder so you don't put too much on and end up creating short circuits. Your local electronics hobby store will have this stuff.

It was the plate and after some investigation I found a broken diode on the plate.
