Interesting new headlights for the w220
Just found these pop up on ebay today and all I can say is they look interesting, they have a w222 look to them... Thought I'd share.
here are 2 ebay listings that have pictures at a different angle

The quality of eBay headlights are usually terrible and take a different bulb size smaller then the original producing bad light output. Whatever car you have if you go through forums people will usually try and talk you out of buying headlights from eBay, but I gotta say those look great. They are the w222 style headlights. If anyone buys them can you report back here on the quality of them and the install?

Yeah I would go with these DEPO lights that work with the auto leveling factory hid

Guys, I found an even better angle of these headlights...
My god, they look beautiful. Too bad they are not compatible with the OEM HID Xenon system. But come on, these are too good to be ignored. There has to be some type of conversion process, like if we can remove the HID system from our current headlights and place them into the casing of these beautiful ones, will that even work? I'm willing to get these headlights and try to get them working with my factory HID Xenon system.

You can put an aftermarket hid kit in them, forget about using the factory hid kit
The ad says its compatible with aftermarket hid kits. Just ask the seller which aftermarket hid kit to buy

I probably have to take these to someone to do it for me. I just hope an aftermarket HID kit will even work, it's a mess to work with putting HID on a car that already has one from the factory. But, I may be wrong. I don't have too much knowledge about this anyways. I will definitely get these, but I don't like the chrome casing version personally. I'll wait for a black casing version of these headlights to come out, then I'll definitely start on this project.

Just noticed the creators of the headlights put up a how to video which has a better view of how the headlights look in person. Still don't know if I like them, too bad they don't have a xenon version.

Those really update the w220
To current looks . The amoeba shape headlights actually now look like an update of a w222 with those led in them!!
You can use an aFternarket hid kit with these lights the same way you can use an aFternarket hid kit on a car with factory xenon . Any good stereo shop can wire it up

I think they look great. As soon as I find the right S220 I'll be interested.

What the hell? All the listings for these headlights are gone! There is absolutely none left! And I was right about to buy them too!
Did they stop production this soon?!?! And for what reason? What a shame! I was so close

They are back but only in black housing now, weird.

I honestly think the black housing is WAY better than the old chrome housing one. This is exactly what I was waiting for, I will now finally purchase these headlights

The black housing will only good with certain color cars - like black cars
A tan, blue or red w220 mb would look silly with the black housing lights and needs the chrome housing

True, but any color other than silver, black, and white is pretty rare for a W220. The black housing would look nice on a white or silver car too. It looks best for a black car, which I have, so I guess I'm lucky

So, I wanted to jump in here before I posted a new question. I am needing to replace my driver headlight (halogen) and was wondering if anyone has experienced any issues with going aftermarket? Just trying to decide if I should stay OEM or give AM a try. I forgot to mention I would replace both since I'm a little OCD and want them to both look the same.

Got these lights
Hey guys!
Just installed these lights, they look great!
But I have an issue with them: whenever I turn them on the white and orange strips are on at the same time, I can't get the white strip only on. Any Ideas how can I do it?

Did you do the installation yourself? If not, ask the person who installed it for you to try separating the DRL and turn signal lights. Also, mind showing us a picture of your car with the headlights? I haven't really seen these on a car other than the one shown in the listings.
