I have a track that 1:15 into the song I loose audio on the optic ring. It is 100% repeatable. What I want to do is email you the same track, you record it onto your SD memory card and test the song on your MP40 player and let me know if it fails for you at the same time into the song.
The optic ring recovers after shutdown, a 30 second delay->power up of Comand unit.

Tests so far:
Copy the song onto another SD memory card and play in second MP40 player SD slot and optics fail at the same location (1:15 secs)
Copy the song onto a CD, play song on CD player and optics does not fail.
Copy song from CD back to new SD card and play back on Mp40 and song causes optic ring to fail at 1:15 sec.
Optic ring fail means no sound from Comand, even from radio.

So, anyone want to help determine for sure that my MP40 is bad?
Just play in yours, if yours does not fail then I know for sure mine is bad. If yours fails for you then all MP40 Mp3 players has a firmware bug or hardware bug/fault.
