airmatic issue....collapsed front end

twice in the last 3 days while driving my 2001 S 500 the "stop! car too low" warning has appeared and the tires are behind the fender. I stopped and turned the car completely off and restarted and it rose to normal heightI am in constant fear of it happening again where do I start?

Look for leaks in the struts or air lines

If there's a constant leak the pump may be timing out to prevent burning itsekf out by constantly working

Yes. And visit the sticky "OWNERS START HERE". Loads of info on airmatic issues.

Since the trouble hit you while driving and not in the garage overnight, I would guess that the strut interior is blown and leaks when the the strut tries to compensate for bumps and holes on the road.
